There is two supermarkets, two convinient stores and metro station just 2 min walk from the hostel. The bed was spacious and had a long and quite large counter to leave my things. There is also a good space in the room to leave your luggage, but as I'm travelling with a median size backpack so I just kept it with me in the bed counter. The team was lovely and very funny, they invited me to eat some snacks and also helped me finding the best way of going to the airport. I arrived before check-in time, but my bed was ready at that time, so they let me check-in earlier. The owner seems serious at first but he's actually funny in his on way. The night I stayed in the hostel there was a guy with very smelly feet and the owner discreetly opened the common area doors so the air could change. He also turned the air conditioner full power to circulate the air in the dorm. I believe that was all he could do. Next day I was getting ready to leave the dorm for check out when I saw the owner and the volunteers changing not only the bed sheets, but the whole capsule set even the duvet and the futon mattress of the smelly guy capsule because he left but the smell stayed. I could see they really care about the cleaning and all that concerns the guests confort. I wish I would definitely come back.

Friendly staff. Comfortable, spacious bed, quiet room. The place was very clean. There was hot water and a small space for cooking. A nice communal area downstairs. What I personally liked about this hostel is that it's small. There isn't 400 people coming and going. It's quiet , yet you can easily meet others and have a chat or food downstairs. The beds were big and comfortable and had their own curtain for privacy. I slept very well and it was quite cheap too. It's in a good location too. A family mart directly beside you and a metro stop. I really can't complain. It exceeded my expectations for the price. I've stayed in hostels for at least 4 months over the past year in multiple countries and picnic was one of the best by far.

Set back of a side street of the main road it was really quiet. The 4 bed female dorm with good size beds was comfortable even with the shower cubicale inside the room. Small kitchen were you could prepare food and there was a communal table / space which I really liked. Great location to train and metro stations and the bus stop and your only a short distance from the main transport hub for all 3. 20 minutes from Dotondori and loads of options for shopping and eating. Clean, tidy and friendly, had a nice feel to it if you didn't want to go out or weather was bad. Lift access to all floors.

The hostel has a very good location. They also provide you with everything you need. Even a hair straightener at the floor for women. Also, the owner is very friendly and he is very engaged in having smalltalk with the guests and learning a little bit from everyone about their language and even greets them in their language 🤗 Once, someone took my umbrella from the entrance and I told him about it. He even insisted on giving me the money for it back which was not necessary but a very kind act. All in all, it is a very friendly and cozy atmosphere. Thank you for your hostility!

Check-in was very easy. The rooms were very clean, it felt like me and my items were very safe. The rooms have locks and the overall building locks after 10 pm. Even when I wasn't there I felt comfortable leaving my belongings at the hostel. It was very clean, the staff clean the rooms and bathroom/shower room every day. They had great amenities available for very cheap prices (toothbrush- 50 YEN; towel for 100 YEN). It was very comfortable, with comfy sheets, and pillows, and the rooms have air conditioning. If I were to stay in Osaka again, I would definitely stay here.
